Ellie's journey to us....

I'm so excited this morning!!  I do not need any caffeine this morning!!  We received word that Ellie Pei-Hua's hearing was on May 22nd!!  I prayed that day to be her hearing date, because it was day before my birthday, and it was the last day of the work week!  What a awesome birthday present, that's all I wanted this year and many years!   So, what does all this mean?  Well, we're getting very close ... we're about 2 months out from travel news.  We will have 2 more court hearings (I think) 2nd hearing and final hearing, then we receive word to travel to Taiwan to bring Ellie home!   I'm one happy, excited, over the top mommy right now!  Now, we have some planning to do, pick out a pediatrician, child care, baby showers!

What a beautiful daughter you have, and you will be holding her before you know it!!!

This time will go fast, and do work on all those things that you needed or wanted to get accomplished....it is hard to get them done once you get home:) You will be too busy spending time with your lovely Ellie!!

We actually don't have a referral yet...we are in the special needs program, and are waiting for a daughter ages 1-3. Hopefully our dossier will be to Taiwan by fall.

Hi there! Congrats on your hearing date! You left a comment on my blog asking how long we've been waiting for our first/civil ruling...it's been seven weeks. Not really that long, but still, I want my baby. I'm sure you can relate. Here's hoping your court process goes very fast!
